Tutoring and Remediation

Tutoring is available in a variety of subjects, particularly reading, mathematics, language arts, writing, history, geography, and other “core” subjects.

We can provide materials at any grade level for full instruction, or work with your provided materials and help your child work through those.

If your child is struggling with a subject, we can help untangle the difficulty and get your child back on the road to success.

Tutoring is provided in increments of one to three hours per session.

COMING SOON: Group sessions, where children bring their own study materials and work individually or together, with supervision by a qualified tutor. We expect to offer two-hour sessions, twice a week, $30 per session.

• Single hour tutoring session: $60
• Two-hour tutoring session: $110 ($55/hour)
• Three-hour tutoring session: $150 ($50/hour)

• Five-session block of one-hour sessions: $250 ($50/hour
• Five-session block of two-hour sessions: $900 ($45/hour)
• Five-session block of three-hour sessions: $1200 ($40/hour)

• Ten-session block of single hours: $500 ($50/hour)
• Ten-session block of two-hour sessions: $900 ($45/hour)
• Ten-session block of three-hour sessions: $1200 ($40/hour)

Tutoring can be provided at your home, or at a convenient library or community center (depending on available space). Payment for tutoring is requested at the beginning of booked session or session block.
